Local

Central Virginia Justice Initiative (CVJI), Fredericksburg

  • Faith-based organization whose mission is to mobilize the Rappahannock region of Virginia to combat and end human trafficking and exploitation in all its forms, as well as support victims and survivors of this crime

Empowerhouse, Fredericksburg

  • Empowerhouse is a non-profit organization providing confidential domestic violence assistance in the city of Fredericksburg and the counties of Stafford, Spotsylvania, King George, and Caroline. These services include a free and confidential 24-hour hotline, a temporary emergency shelter, information, referrals, and advocacy.

Rappahannock Council Against Sexual Assault (RCASA), Fredericksburg

  • Our mission is to provide support, treatment, and advocacy to persons whose lives have been affected by sexual violence and to reduce sexual violence in our community through education and awareness.

State

ACTION in Community Through Service (ACTS), Dumfries

  • ACTS offers a number of services including comprehensive domestic violence prevention and education program, an anonymous crisis telephone hotline, support groups, and more.

National

Rape Abuse & Incest National Network (RAINN)

  • The nation’s largest anti-sexual violence organization. Created and operates the National Sexual Assault Hotline. Carries out programs to prevent sexual violence, help victims, and ensure that rapists are brought to justice.
